Campaign Coffee Table

I cannot get the before picture to upload tonight. Grrrr!

Due to a huge stash of furniture and need to move things more quickly, I finally took the plunge and decided to try chalk paint! Only I made my own using Plaster of Paris. It was really easy and I didn't have to sand OR prime! Giddy!

Anyway, I found this gem at Goodwill a few weeks ago. Solid wood, dovetail drawers and a leather inlay top. I quickly painted the table in three coats...less than an hour between coats because the chalk paint dries so quickly. I sanded it lightly just to make it feel more smooth...and then I waxed it with Fiddes Wax in Jacobean to age it out.

There were only 5 of the 6 original pulls, so I improvised by using these 2 antique knobs on the bottom drawer.
