It started as this...a lovely little table with a water stain on the top:
I was going to paint it all one color...like Newburg Green, but I thought the wood had potential. So I sanded off the old varnish, stained it with Minwax in Provincial and look at the wood now!
I even left the feet in the original finish. Usually drum tables have brass feet, but not this one.
This is the month of small, unique tables...so stay tuned!

LOVE it! the one i have in my living room my brother refinished for me as a wedding gift.... it is missing the feet, too, and i love it like that!
Absolutely amazing!!! It looks fantastic. Enjoy!! Megan
Allison you increased the value tenfold! It's catalog worthy with the two tone look and beautiful wood finish. Amazing what a little elbow grease and love can do, nice work.
Oh I love it. It is fabulous. Love the finish too and the top and feet look gorgeous. Great job. Hugs, Marty
The stained top is my favorite part! It looks so warm and inviting!

So pretty! I just saw a table like that at a second hand store, but I didn't buy it because I couldn't hear it tell me what it wanted to look like. Obviously, you were listening. :) Great job! Maybe I'll go see if that table is still for sale.
So sweet! Good decision on the wood top! ... Can I have a picker too?
So pretty! I love that you left the wood this time....I'm a big lover of woodgrain. I have a bar table just like that one that my husband and I use as our dining room table now that all the kids are gone. I have 2 wooden club bar chairs that go with it - all were my parents in our den. You have just given me the BEST idea!! I'm going to show this post to my husband and tell him he's got a new project!
Very nice restyle Allison, love the combo :) Have a great weekend.

Love that you saved the wood on top. It is such a contrast with the white. It's gorgeous. And I am so jealous you have someone else to hunt for you. Luck lady.
Simply stated - a beautiful makeover. You did that table good - gave it just the right makeup! Excellent job Korrie!

The table looks great! I really like the feet left the original color. This is great inspiration for me to paint a little drum table that I have that's been begging for some attention.
Adorable table! I have one that needs refinishing, love the color you chose.
Maybe I missed it somewhere, but I was wondering what the colour is that you used to paint the bottom of the table. could you please tell me paint colour and brand you used. love the table

Such a pretty table, Allison! I love the new paint color.
I love the wood left on top and the paint on the legs. I did a coffee table that way and I love it. Nice job.
Cute table. It looks great! I'm redoing my kitchen table with stain on top and white legs. Not brave enough to do antiquing! A lot of work but worth it. Great job! ~Linda
