This is the fourth table I've had in this space in recent months. I find little tables, think "it's perfect for our small entry" and, well, they just haven't been perfect. Either too short, too wide, or too ugly to fix. LOL!
I came up on this one at a thrift shop and loved it's character. But before I decided what to do with it, I wanted to make sure it was a good fit. Here is our entry. The corner under the initial plaque is where the table will sit.
And here is the finished table in all of her two-toned glory. I think I've mentioned several times that I've been dying to do a 2 tone piece. This was my chance. I also branched out and used Behr glaze with a bit of dark walnut stain for tinting.
Your eyes are not decieving you...the circles in the center are not even. I guess that's what you get with older pieces.
