Here is the before picture of this cabinet that Shayne brought me. It had major veneer issues, but my father-in-law fixed it, of course!
Here she is now...a medium gray with dark glaze and distressing. Such a unique piece with the doors!
Stay tuned for a giveaway (or 2!) that will be happening soon!!

Gorgeous transformation! I love the color. Found your link on My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia.
Hey Allison, sooo do you ever have the desire to just stop after priming with grey primer and then wanna wax THAT!? Lol! When I did my dresser, after priming, I thought "Hmmmm..I kinda like this grey!" Lol!
Ok for reals, QUESTION, do you use one coat of primer or two? I'm not sure if the primer is always to COMPLETELY cover a piece...or if it's just to give the coat of paint something to grab onto? I'm sure it's both and either! lol. Just wondering what you do?
This truly is a sweet little cabinet. Your color choice is onspot too; loving the grey tone. It's such an unusual piece, I wonder what its original purpose was. I spotted your link over at BNOP!
Would love if you'd share it at my Frugal Treasures Tuesday party. Thanks for sharing.
