You've done a fantastic job with both pieces. I did not even notice the details on the first table until you had redone it. They really stand out and look beautiful now.

the second piece is cute, but the first- gorgeous! who knew it had all those pretty details until it was painted!

I'm going to have to stop looking at your fantastic pieces, I want them all. I have a definite thing for tables. I like to have a few that I can rotate depending on what I'm doing in a room.
My husband had made a couple great console or sofa tables but our living room is too small for them. Hated to have to get rid of them.Actually think they went to our local thrift shop after we moved in to our present house which is smaller than other places we've lived. I had to get rid of a lot of furniture. Drat.
love your blog i have to say so many wonderful inspirational pieces. I have been doing pieces for about a year now as furniture pieces for my home mosly using diy plaster of paris chalk paint and minwax finishing paste but would love to start doing some consignment pieces as well. I have tried also valpar antiquing glaze, i see you mention using minwax stain as a glaze as well as Fiddes Jacobean wax. I would love to know how you apply or make the glaze from a stain, also where you find the wax? i do not have a blog yet but my email is andreapbaker@gmail.com
