I had an antique dealer chasing me around Goodwill for this table. I mean, not literally chasing me. He was a really sweet older guy trying to "make sure" I really wanted the table. I did.....who wouldn't? Such great lines...here is the before:
For the finish, I was inspired by Kelli at Restore Interiors....she does amazing work! She had a similar style table that I saw here. I dry brushed three layers...a creamy white, a light gray/white (BM Silver Satin) and then a light beige. I distressed with 150 grit sandpaper and then did 2 coats of ebony stain. I am so in love with Ebony stain as a glaze....I could go on and on about it, but that might bore you. Here is the after...
I really like it and am working on three other pieces with the same finish. It's so easy and fun to do! Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to enter my giveaway below!

This is gorgeous! I have never heard of that stain. I think I would be chasing you too for that table:)
Came from Courtney's party...new friend now. Hope to see you for a visit sometime too.
Wow that looks way better after! I probably would've walked past that table without noticing it before, but would definitely notice it after!
Ok I'm a little more than mildly obsessed with this table!! It looks SO GORGEOUS! You did an amazing job. I would chase you around goodwill too!! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comments on my dresser! Loving your work!!
Great job! Where were you at when I was painting my dresser for the last two days. So you dry brushed all 3 layers. Did you sand it down first? It looks great.
I love all the details on this sweet little table. What a difference a little paint makes. Seriously darling!!!

Visiting from Frugalicious Friday!
Oooh what a great idea Allison! I have ebony stain that has been sitting in my stash for a year and I haven't known what to do with it. I would never have thought about using it for a glaze! Did you mix it with a medium or use it strait from the can? Thanks for linking up =)
