Instant Gratification

I picked this up over the weekend for $1.99 at the GW. Solid wood and unique...but drippy poly all over the place.

I sanded it down and sprayed a white gloss inside the night stand. I then used my recently purchased Benjamin Moore sample of Newburg Green...originally recommended by Cassie at Primitive and Proper. Love, love, LOVE this color! I chose a crystal pull that I just got in a giveaway from Andi at Jane of all Crafts. It is perfect for this project.

Here it is ...I completed it in one day! This is huge for me!

Why can I not take a picture that's level?!

I thought this was going to go in our guest room, but it doesn't look quite right...the size is off. Guess I'll have to sell her!

Well first of all, I would faint if I saw a piece of furniture for $1.99 at my Goodwill! I love that color and it looks so fresh and pretty with the contast of the white inside and the cute little pull. It's adorable! And Cassie will like the owl too!

Allison another beauty, she's so cute and fresh now plus a great find. One question about your photobucket pics - I can never seem to get mine 'large', even when I resize, if I stick it in a post it's tiny and when I hit large it's all blurry - any advice?

LOVE it, I need to hit the Goodwill more often...but, nothing is under $4.99 furniturewise.

I haven't hit GW in a while...never seem to find anything reasonably priced. This was a keeper...you turned it around perfectly.

Allison you rock girl! I love the color and the knob is a nice piece of bling :)

Love the way it turned out! I wonder why ALL of the Goodwill stores don't sell their furniture for that cheap!! A nightstand like that in my town would have a $10+ price tag!

I had to laugh when I saw the little "addition" on the bottom shelf. What's your email, I want to send you a picture to show you WHY I laughed :)
