I have been busy
I recently grabbed this at a garage sale:
The details were amazing and I wanted to try to save the top. I'm not 100% sure about having some drawers painted and others not, but I *think* I really like it. I couldn't paint those 2 lower drawers...they weren't damaged enough ;)
It's updated, but still has vintage flare!
How could I paint this wood?
So, do I paint the drawers or leave as is?

How GORGEOUS!!!
I can't believe I'm going to say this ( and if you knew me you'd know why )
BUT DO NOT PAINT THE WOOD!!!!
It's absolutely perfect the way it is. What an incredible transformation!

Suzan
It looks amazing! The painted areas make the wood pop even more!
I think it looks pretty cool just the way it is!
Beautiful piece, and I think it looks gorgeous just as it is!
STUNNING! This piece is perfect. Love it.
I think you have captured the best of both worlds - you did paint some of it to update and you didn't paint that beautiful, is it Tiger Maple? and that makes purists (like me most of the time) feel better! :)
I love it jsut the way it is...Leave it be! :)
Denise
I vote to leave it as it is...it's perfection!

I think you did a fantastic job. The mix of white with the wood is stunning. I would love it if you would share this over at my link party that is going on.
