A Girly Nighstand and a Kindergartner

Wheeee! It has been a nutty week...my oldest got off to Kindergarten without any major glitches. I went to Chicago last weekend for a getaway to see my sister...shopping, sleeping and not little ones crawling on me was just what this girl needed!

First, a few pictures of my big guy!

Next up is this sweet nightstand that I got for $7.99 at Value Village. A friend of mine was in the process of transition her beautiful 3 year old into her big girl room and this table NEEDED to be girly!

Those curves and lines!

We talked colors and came up with this!

The handle was painted to match the madras bedding from Potter Barn Kids that will be on the big girl bed. I love it...but I love anything girly that I do. My life is testosterone central after having 3 boys...so this was a fun project.

Allison super curvy cute. Great idea for the pink hardware and such a good bargain. We're finally in school as well, so nice to have a little Momtime back for some major projecting! School rocks - why can't it be all year long?
