Lovely Creamified Desk

I want to keep this piece!! But it's not mine :(

My friend Shayne brought me this piece. A semi-circle desk with a leather inlay that had been painted black. This picture was taken during the first coat of primer.

Photobucket

She wanted it beautified to use as a vanity for customers to sit at while they try on pieces of her jewelry. She makes EXQUISITE jewelry...and you can see it here on her Facebook page.

I creamified it...and I'm in love!

Perfect piece, gorgeous! Did you happen to use chalk paint on this, the sheen looks more matte? Love it!

I want it!!!! I'm glad you posted this because I have two end tables that have the leather inlay and I was trying to figure out if I could paint it and if I did how it would look. Whew, glad it will look great! That leather is so old school;)
